Taking my Granddaughters out tomorrow, ages 10 & 8. Any perch near the ditch? Or should we stay in calmer waters? First time out for both of them.

I think perch will be very tough due to the recent north blow. If it were me I would stay inland somewhere.

Yes, used to go the Sunday after Thanksgiving as the last trip of the season for years. Back when the Fox Waterway Agency sticker was only $40.
