I ran offshore this morning due North of MC. I started in 90 fow and picked up 2 lakers right away. 1 on a rigger 70 down ( green jeans). And 1 on 300 copper.. Then it went dead. The lake was rough.
While pulling lines I knocked a downrigger rod out of the holder and when I dove for it I face planted on the motor cowling making hamburger out of my mouth. I lost the rod and bled all the way home.
All that for 2 lakers.
