I would like to show some pics and introduce my new little hunting buddy, Roxie. She is now 4 weeks old and has already stolen my heart. She comes from a farm and dog training place near Shelbyville,IN. She is from some very good actual German stock and her pedigree is all German on the mother's side. The father was on site also and he has a great hunting and trial lineage. She has the makings of a good hunter, not to mention she sure is cute. She won't take my Belle's place in my home she will have her own. Without further ado....

Six more weeks and I can take her home and start getting her ready for bird hunting after the first of the year I hope. For now I will be happy to get her house broke and potty trained. The guy that owns the place has some good looking Weims and Setters also.

Well I have had Roxie home for a little while now and I have began the task of potty training and basic commands such as sit, stay, here, and fetching. I have forgotten that this a bit of work with new pup. Full of energy, she has the attention span of a gnat right now still she is picking things up. She will go for some field training in a few more weeks.
I was playing with my searunner resetting the fuel gauge and Rox got in for her first look around. Looks like the live well would make a great spot to store Roxie.
