Went out first thing this morning, line of people, caught 1 perch, and lost 2 jumbos, and that was it, fished from 530 till 1000 this morning, when the wind comes out of the east, the fish bite the least, and cruised to calpark, and that wasn't fishable either. I'm goin out in the morning, rain or shine.

Nice goin homie! I've been fishing the mouth of the river in the main channel in 33-34fow and still getting some nice fish. You should give that a try....

I'm pretty sure the big lake is done for the 2015 season. This mornings east winds @ 40mph put an end to it. I'm actually gonna prepare my outboard for the winter.

Any one been to 95th street perchin? I'm coming into town cuz my mom has surgery on next friday, I wanna at least fish a morning if possible and is there any ice around portage area? Any help, thanks

There has been some ice around for sure but I think with fridays winds it will all blow out and be gone. Just my guess.

Also if you go up to the weather section of the site (top menu) and go to Modis you can see the satellite imagery. Shows where the ice is.
