My interpretation, for what its worth -

First and last are bait

Middle one in 97.5 feet is a big school of whitefish. But, could be something else! Half the allure of fishing is figuring out what's down there...

I want to say like 2 to 3 miles. It is not far at all compared to the south end of the lake.

I agree ive only been out of st joe a few times but I think around 5 miles.
