If you have been watching the lake temps here, you will see that this end has flipped. Should start getting interesting now. High temps now 63 degrees.

Seen that! Interesting to see if it happened at Portage as well. Should bring in any remaining skams offshore and maybe some early kings :)

Anyone think it’s worth a shot with the cold water to try tomorrow? I have an early day tomorrow and was going to shoot towards north point marina but with the cold water near portage and portage being 30 minutes from home I’m thinking about going there instead… anyone else thinking of going

Hurt. 

Perch fishing, you want stable water column and a nice thermocline. Flips and instability push the perch around and scatter them

Happy to hear the gaspergoos are around. I fished nearshore for steelhead a couple times a month or more ago and didn't get a single goo-bite!  Keeps things interesting while waiting for the next tooth-bearing fish to bite.
