That blows for sure, I've known a handful of guys that signed up for new boats that were in the build schedule and not one was actually done when they were told it would be. Its one thing when you when you live on Florida and can fish/boat year round but our window is so short that 6 weeks can be a third of the season!

Hope Plan B works out.

Okay another UPDATE........ but first a
Little backstory---'On December 1st I had a massive heart attack, 100% blockage on one side of the heart, 90% blockage on the other.
The 100% was cleared. Medicine along with lifestyle change( cardiac rehab) has allowed me to start getting healthy again- down 35 lbs since the attack. Last Friday they went in to get the 90% blockage- did not go as well, alot of complications but in the end mission accomplished. But I've been layed up all week- alot of time to assess and reassess the boat stuff. Funny thing is, if my boat was done according to original schedule- I couldn't use it as I'm still on the mend, lol . Ive been looking at boats non stop for a week, being mainly confined to a bed. The thought of spending allot of money on used and maybe even not having a warranty is frightening to me. I like new, i like a blank canvas.

So my Fishmaster 196 order is back on !!! I'll heal up while I wait for the rig and I think it will all come together. I spent alot of time and thought on this boat. I think it will be the best Fishmaster on the planet, and I want to see my minds image come to a reality .

Hope you continue to heal, the boat can wait, get your health back on track. Having been a prior Fishmaster 196 owner, I feel confident you'll love it.

Hello, first, thanks for the well wishes, appreciate it.
Just wondering , if you were running a 200hp motor, what prop, pitch and speeds you were seeing.  I was able to hit 52 with a 17p Rev4 on my 210 Fishmaster with a 250,  but my new motor,  200 Tohatsu (rebadged Honda) has a different gear ratio so trying to figure some stuff out.
Also wondering why you moved out of the Fishmaster and what did you move into?
Thanks, take care

My 196 only had a 115. While probably a little underpowered, I could achieve mid to upper 30's mph, and it was basically only used on lake Michigan and rarely could I go wide open anyway.
I think the max hp was 170 on my 2007. I sold mine for various reasons. My kids and nephews moved on, the king fishery decline, and being a two hour drive one way, and never bought another for the big lake.
Sorry, can't help you on the prop questions, with a 200 on that boat, no matter the prop, it's going to fly!!
