Great catch guys, taking the grandson out Fri weather permitting. Just going to hit a small lake close to home with the old 14 ft. Sea Nymph. What has been your best bait lately? Rudey

If you can find catalpa worms they are the best. Turn them inside out on the hook and it chums the water. Hard to find them these days so small hooks with crawler pieces, wax worms or red wiggles will get the job done. Leeches as well. I like using small ice fishing jigs with a small piece of worm. Hope you catch a bunch!

My absolute favorite wheat her it's ice out or late fall I use a 1/16 ounce orange mini mite with a hole red worm I know first thought that comes to mind is they will eat the worm off the hook but my hook up ratio is very good oh n that's either on a bobber or casting

Nice fish guys! Seeing a few Red Ears in there as well. Those have a limit so be careful if you got on a pod of them.

I took my boys out the other day on Sylvan Lake in Noble County. We didn't quite get into the fish, but my youngest son told me he was getting hot, so I let him take off his life jacket and his shirt. Thirty seconds later, he hauled in this nice slabber and another one like it right after. He was sure to let me and my other son know, several times, that he caught the only two fish of the day.
