TOPIC:

The Irish Prince, me and a few other guys are heading out to Erie for a long weekend next week (May 4th thru 7th), hoping the weather behaves and the fishing is good. This will be my first trip to Erie and first time targeting eyes but the other guys are regulars, so hoping they can show me the ropes for Erie Eyes as well as the have for Lake Michigan Salmon. Will update this thread with fishing reports once we are on the water.

Are you guys bringing boats or doing a charter?

have a good trip! I may be up there breaking in my new kicker and itroll that weekend. If I do end up going I'll keep in touch

MikeF - We are bringing boats. The other guys have been going for several years so they know the lake pretty well (at least the part we are going to).

Jums - Loving my kicker so far and the troll master is great- I am sure your new setup will be awesome. Let me know if you are going up and we can exchange #'s for texting or figure out radio comm.

do you know where you're launching out of? Also, if youre jigging or trolling or both?

Jums We are near the Nuke plant I believe - I dont recall the name at the moment. I believe they do all trolling but not 100% sure as this is my maiden voyage.
