they were biting great for me today. best part was that it was a late morning bite

I often find the 8-11 time period is great. First hour of light is really hit or miss for me

I caught a limit and probably had 20 bites. Smallest was probably 17 inches, biggest was around 22 or 23. Most were solid 2.5 to 3 pounders.

I was the only one catching fish where I was; after 45 minutes of not being able to keep all 3 rods in the water I had a crowd around me and the action slowed way down and the bites became lighter

I was fishing from shore

99.9% of whitefish fishing in the south end of the lake is done from shore. Green Bay and Traverse Bays and Bays De Noc are pretty much the only places where folks target them using ice fishing or boats

Congrats, are they in all winter and what is the limit in Indiana?
