I think this is the longest stretch of conistent weather we have had all summer. Should be just what the Perch needed.

Buddy and I fished New Buffalo with little results. Started at Red Roof (nothing), then to Clay Banks (gobies), then Lakeside (gobies), then back north of the Red Roof (nothing), ended outside the harbor at 40ft (a few small perch, no keepers). Tried various depths from 30 to 60+ fow. There were a few other boats out, but didn't see any action. No wind, so no drifting.

I would have thought this week of South winds would get them going. Going to try tomorrow and I guess I'll be hunting. Did you try in shallow at all? I hear lots of minnows around the beaches.

Went out of New Buffalo today. Bounced around and found 7 keepers. Man the lake was glass calm.

I heard a few reports out of the ditch today. A few keepers, lots of sorting, both east and west. The next 2 or 3 days could be good with the south winds, else I would say wait for thanksgiving time.
