Yes, the area north of Gary light typically produces nice perch through the year. It usually doesn’t last very long though, this bite has been good for several weeks now.

You cant release them. They are being caught from 55' and are a balloon by the time they get to the surface. The growing flock of seagulls out there are testament to the sorting going on.

No. I can see why you might ask that question from my post but, it was both because the air bladders and the fish coming up so fast from that depth. There was no need in my outings to sort through fish so it’s not something I had to deal with.
