Ditto BigEd. Got out of the ditch and turned around. You guys are crazy!!!!!

I haven't figured out if it's the boat my driving ability or if I am crazy but I think it's a little bit of all of them. Lol

I run 6 lines on a 9'6" beam and screw that up routinely!

This trip up to the lake was a somewhat of a bust fishing wise for me and a fishing buddy that came up with me. We came up for 2 1/2 days and never set a line trolling. We tried fishing in Trail creek and the ditch and in and around Pastrick. Two small smallmouth bass is all we could do. Tried to make the best of things and did a bunch of exploring the area. I found 3 bait shops and found Pastrick marina. I will use that ramp some as it is a nice place but a long walk to and fro the parking lot. Slez's tackle was interesting. His place proves you can get 10 pounds of stuff in a 5 pound stuff sack. Nice fellow to talk with there also. Enjoyed talking to you Split as always, good to have you on my side. Bob, Steve and brother Tony thanks for the ribbing I always get. I felt bad about not getting out but when the Plane to Sea spun around to go back in I was relieved to follow. But let it be known I did not bring the wind with me! It was already here. The guy that writes those NOAA weather reports must be poorest weather prognosticator in the world. He missed this weekend badly.
I tried hailing you a couple of times out there today Dirty, wondering if you heard me? Anyway, maybe there will better luck next time for the southerners. :(

It sucks you did not get to utilize your time up here like you wanted Don maybe next time you will knock them dead and make up for this trip. I had my radio on all day we did not hear you call we must have been just out of range I guess. I know I could hear guys taking that were way south of us so I don't think I have a problem with my radio. But I will be sure to check next time out to be sure.

AP: Sometimes less is more. Twelve sticks at this time of year seems a bit of over kill. What are you running? I can and have run 15 off the back of the Bro, but this time of year seldom do I go over 9 or 10.

Glad I made the call to stay home on Saturday.

A day like yesterday wasn't a good day to run 2 lines let alone 12. Way to much wave action. I bet the tangles were on Jeff's side of the boat!!!

The problem I have been having is I was running 4 boards on each side and my 2 outside would tangle but not bad. We would see a twist in the line above the water then when you untwist the line and reel in the outside board the copper would be from the second outside line would be hanging on the board but no under water twist.
