Worked all night on building pedestal mounts for new down riggers decided to give them test run today. Went out solo because all my friends that were off work are scared of the cold. Set Lines around 12:45 pm about 200 yards from entrance of Gary light. Was limited out right at 2pm. Just did big circles around the mouth running a Green and gold peanut fly
with a small red dodger 12ft down on rigger, Red wiggle wart, and a Brads thin fish yellow belly with red back. Popped one right away on the fly, then drug one on the rigger for god knows how long ( my release didn't release), missed 2 hits on the wart, and missed 1 hit on the brads... All in all it was steady action and a nice day on the lake... now its time to fire up the smoker
