Set lines at 7:30 went 8 for 12 number4 being a 12lb King my first one. The rest all nice coho. Third year fishing the big lake finally got a king now I want a bigger one! All fish on body baits or spoons just west of the harbor 20-25 fow. King hit a spoon on a small diver. Pulled lines at 12 didn't have a hit after 10:30. Happy Easter.

Just wondering where do you set in at St. Joe? I never been there but I'm looking to get up there sometime this summer, thanks


You can put in at the St. Joe city launch, which is $7/day and has a nice fish cleaning station. Address of the launch is 401 Island Pointe Dr, St Joseph, MI 49085


The Benton Harbor DNR Ramp is directly across the river, and requires a recreation passport to use, and has no fish cleaning station

If driving 10 mins up the ditch seems like an inconvenience, prepare yourself for the 25 min, no-wake ride to the lake.  Great facilities though.
