New to this site, first post
launched out of East Chicago  15 minutes before sunrise, waves were very sloppy and bouncing off the wall. I was wondering why I was the second boat out. Got lucky with no guard at gate so it was free, first time ever for me. Went out about 3/4 ways towards corner and put 2 lines out, 1st coho in 10 minutes. 10 minutes later got a double, then 15 minutes later got a 4th. I was happy with the morning so I turned the boat back to the marina. One other boat was going out, I never saw another boat while I was out. My sea legs never got under me so it was bouncing all over the boat netting the fish
it was my first trip for coho this year so it ended great.

Glad you caught fish,be safe out there, what did the coho hit on ?

I troll with Shad raps and 6lb test, been doing this for years

Tip: E/SE winds usually not good for East Chicago (hole in the wall). Of course depends on speed. What you trolling with?

Yesterday was my first trip to the pond this year, so it didn’t really matter what the wind was doing, been going there for 40 years or so
I have a 16ft alumacraft and I troll with 2 rod holders and no planers or riggers
I still miss the days of perch out there
