Went to Lake Shelbyville to try my luck for some crappies I guesstimated that we would be spider rigging the mouth of the coves going based of some reports WRONG!!!! Water temps were 60 am and 70 pm fished far north end of lake standing timber coves fish were 6-16 ft down and it was on!!!

Love that lake! Once found them in the middle of the channel suspended. Pulling up massive amounts of crappie middle of the day with boats flying past all around. Lol! That is a fun lake.

I’d say u have 2 good weeks as of now to catch em spawning I fish standing timber the obvious n do pretty well this time of year
