Fished Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on a charter out of Catawba. On Tuesday we caught 90 perch near Niagara reef, only a few over 10 inches. One of the large head boats did limit out. This made the news in the Cleveland Plain Dealer as perch fishing the past several months has been lousy.
On Wednesday we targeted walleye starting at Niagara reef after several hours we moved and fished near Sugar Island in 5 to 20 feet and limited out on 3 lb walleyes (24 fish at 74 lbs). On Thursday we fished 6 hours at 5 different spots and caught 1 small walleye. Both days of walleye fishing we caught over 10 each day, 4 to 8 lb catfish.
