I have been trying to catch a nice striper in Raccoon Lake for probably 15 years. It’s what got me into trolling. I’ve been able to catch bunches of small ones and white bass. Well, it finally happened. My good buddy Spoonfed and I got the beast in! It was an amazing fight and a ton of fun.

They are there and the state record fish actually came out of raccoon. Comptime, a member here, actually caught it.
Is it worth targeting? Hard to say. It took me 15 years to catch one lol. People do catch them but not everyday. It sure is worth it when you tie into one. I actually caught it on a Michigan stinger blue dolphin spoon. If you decide to try it, give me a yell. I’ll tell you everything I know. It’s not a lot but might get you started.
