My son Jim introduced his wife to spring turkey hunting. They had 4 come in silent today, and this fella didn't leave.
24 lbs. with a 10 1/2 in beard, spurs just under a inch.

She did Don. 15 yd shot with her little youth model 20 ga. 1100 Rem. Jim said she did great. At one time Jim mentioned that all the birds stopped at around 20 yards and their heads were just bobbing up and down looking for that hen that had been talking to them. She held off and they walked in to 15 yds. The bummer was they came home with no morels.
