didn't see any this morning and saw 1 small buck and 12 does this evening. No shots,,,,,,, holding out!

Well I had a good day. Had a nice doe come by at 70 yards at 9:15 then about 20 min later an ok 6 pointer walked out at 115 yards. Both are hanging waiting for my knife. I had another in bow season so my bundle & freezer are full. Time to get back to fishing. Hope the perch get going good soon. Sorry no pic's. Good luck to all.

Opening day was 12 hours of nothing but hearing the neighbors shooting them up. Wasn't hopeful Sunday til I saw a monster buck chasing a doe just outside what I wanted to comfortably shoot a 20ga slugger. Giving the woods a break today then back at it tomorrow!

Believe me jeff up in the tree I can see trail creek. I start to wonder if the steelhead are biting better than the deer are moving when it's slow!
