Not wanting to fight the crowds at the boat launch in Portage, I took my Grandson turkey hunting. Quite on Saturday for us but today paid off. We hunt private ground in southern Porter County. This morning he shot a 21.80 Lb , 9 inch beard and 3/4 inch spurs Tom. Needless to say we were both excited. This was his first year turkey hunting, but I guarantee not his last!
