Saturday morning my cousin rattled in a nice buck with a small drop tine right into MY BOW RANGE LOL!!!!! I shot it!! Unfortunately I shot left n low front shoulder low chest!! Tracked for 250 yards with tons of blood and I backed out for fear of pushing it came back early afternoon and found 6 beds and no deer after extensive looking was about to call it quits.... tried crossing this ditch but water was too deep for me n my sons boots and luckily where we could cross we came outa ditch and walked up to my buck!!!! My son got front row seats to it all

Yes that’s him, I couldn’t finish the story cuz of work so here’s the best part of my weekend Sunday morning my 11 year old son and I are in a section of woods where the 30 mph winds are very tolerable.. around 730 am I look up and spot a 9 point buck!!! Wake him up lol and get him ready for a shot I grunted the buck back to us after it was outa range and he came to ten yards of the stand!!! My son shot and stuck the buck little high and back!!! He trotted off to about fifty yards and 15 seconds later he just fell over DEAD!!! It was one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced!! We both were extremely excited about it not only was his first deer a buck but in my opinion a STUD OF A BUCK FOR HIS FIRST ONE!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Great job!! Hope he isn't spoiled. When the first is that nice it makes it tough to beat on the next 1. But he'll remember this day for the rest of his life. Good job.

Yes sir those are great bucks. Congratulations on the kills. You have set a very high bar on next season though. Keep up the good work. I do agree with the saying that “Take your son hunting and you won’t be hunting for son” is very true and gives a common bond for dad and kids down the road even after they have grown.
