YOU HAVE TO WONDER IF ITS WORTH IT
some times you just never know until its over

IN THIS CASE I CAN TELL YOU THIS PROJECT WAS WELL WORTH IT !!
you can find boats like this with one or two bad motors or no motors at all and have a great dependable good on fuel set up for pennies on the dollar of what a comparable boat would cost

NOW IT TIME TO ADD SOME DEPENDABLE FUEL EFFICIENT POWER TO THE BACK
THIS BOAT WENT FROM RUNNING 45 MPH TOP SPEED BURNING ABOUT 50GPH BOTH MOTOR
TO A TOP SPEED OF 52 MPG BURNING 32 GPH BOTH MOTORS
AND ALSO TROLLING SPEED ONE MOTOR WITH THE OLD ENGINE WAS 5GPH WITH THE HONDA POWER WENT TO .6 GPH FUEL BURN
ON AVERAGE TRIP BURNING 1/5 THE GAS

Thanks Don
seems we do more Whalers than others The cost of these boats makes it a easy decision Especially if you buy the boat with a known bad motor and pay the appropriate low cost of buying a quality boat
adding a bracket add quite a bit to the expense of replacing "SEA DRIVES" often is also fiberglass work required
this job with every thing included was just a little over 50k.
We are not a big and fancy place and have no aspirations of being every thing for every one But we do enjoy being around boats and working on them for over half a century now . If you really like your job and do it for long enough you tend to get pretty good at it
Our mission statement is pretty simple
" Treat people how we wish to be treated "
another whaler we did a while back

no short cuts
some times it takes a little more time to set up a motor run it in make initial adjustments on a test stand check all systems for problems check twice for oil leaks initial break in on the test stand goes a long way to make the long hall a run of fun and uneventful trip.
