Don't buy a regular pump get the blaster. Same flow better pressure for the dried blood. Put one on the Sea Ray 6yrs ago works great covering the 14ft beam.

The one I used was a Shurflow Blaster, I think it is 3.5gpm. Picked mine up at West Marine do to being local at the time and I didnt want to wait for it. may be able to get one at an RV dealer. The Blaster has better pressure than the regular water pumps so you dont see the ocillations in water flow as the pump runs. I believe you can get them up to 5gpm but that may be 24v only.

the best?
more depends on the boat how pump is to be mounted? where it gets water from ? do you need pressure or flow?
and the spray nozzle used with the pump needs to match the output of the pump
i stock a kit comes with every thing including instructions and is flexible mounting self priming ect. easy to winterize comes with the rite spray nozzle to get the most out of the pump

more goes into matching parts together than the brand or gph of pump some pumps must be mounted on vertical walls to work rite some need to mounted flat
we always recommend replacing pumps with the same thing that came out of the boat assuming the parts where matched together properly from the original installation one of the first questions asked when some one tells us
"my wash down pump don t work rite any more " have you recently replaced the spray nozzle ?
next question
was it the same type / brand ?
was the pump properly winterized ?

good luck keep them decks clean they can get mighty slippery with out a good wash down pump
