Is it shot? Anyone with any info? Thanks

I went through some similar issues with a boat that I purchased last year. I found that there was a wiring issue but mine did not work from the time I purchased. I ended up upgrading by adding a battery, new 3 bank charger, and new wiring so I knew exactly what I had and to the specs I wanted. Since yours was working I would say it is a battery issue like Frank mentioned. The new Promariner 3 bank charger I purchased has a trouble light for each battery which makes troubleshooting a bit easier. If you have a Voltmeter you can unhook one of the connections from your battery, put the meter on the charger connections, plug it in and see if you are getting a charging voltage.

I don't know your charger by any means but I do know my charger and my golf cart charger will not even attempt to charge a battery if it's voltage is below a certain voltage. Not a bad idea to have the battery tested before you invest in a charger.

My first guess would be that the charger is shot. I would assume there would still be a LED / Flashing pattern if the battery was bad (but not sure). Best to get the battery tested first to confirm.

Not all chargers indicator lights work the same or should I say indicate the same things. Depending on lights available and internal circuits as Pirate said it may not indicate that it is trying to charge if the battery voltage is to low. Most new smart chargers do not try to charge the battery if it detects a voltage below it's low voltage setpoint as a safety feature for the charger. If you live in the Portage area PM me and I will bring my meter and portable smart charger over and tell you in a few minutes if the battery is good or toast. If not I would suggest one of your local auto parts stores with a load tester to verify the strength of your battery. If its been on on and off your charger for 5 years and possibly years before you purchased the boat it may just be at the end of it time. I have had batteries less than a year old not charge due to low voltage when starting the charge. Sometimes the battery can be reconditioned to a usable state but you need to have the proper charger and it will not be 100% after recovery sometimes not even 50%
