What kills a Honda Marine  engine with little or no warning ?

This does ! It's a stuck open thermostat
! makes water in the oil turns your engine block into a giant dehumidifier with the oil pan catching the water

! causes an efi engine to dump excessive fuel into motor to keep it running properly that ends up in the engine oil diluting it till its like water

! often will give no warning at all or an alarm after a few minutes of running. Shut motor off and restart alarm goes away

HOW DO YOU STOP THIS FROM EVER HAPENING TO YOU?

#1 check oil often you not just checking the level look for discolored oil or over full oil. Motors do not make oil. oil lever that's a little low is actually better than over full !

#2 always include thermostat service with water pump service. These components work together as a team and wear out together as well. Thermostat yes is a wearing component
