TOPIC:

Fished south of the pump house in 30 - 40 ft of water this afternoon.. really slow for the first hour and a half with only one small fish , and then I found the mother lode of active fish in 33 feet. No monsters, but I ended up with a Michigan limit of 25 nice ones in a little over an hour. Had to sort thru some little guys but had 14 of the 25 keepers were between 10 and 11 inches. Most of the pack had left before the bite started. A couple of boats migrated towards me and I saw them catching as well. Two nice big bags of fillets and only three minnows left - all in all a pretty good trip!

Thank you. We may have been a boat (in 21' Edgewater) that migrated towards you. Didn't quite finish a Michigan limit, but caught the best size perch of the season.
