Just wondering if the perch are around. This is about the time we started catching them last year, so I was just curious if anyone is having any luck yet!

found 2 - 12 inchers today, never seen so much shad in 20 to 25 ft east n west of MC light.

Tried the 50-55 foot waters off Gary Light today using minnows. One other boat in the area other than us, they left shortly after we got there. Only had a few marks on the bottom, looked like some perch but no hits. Looks like it will be MC and hopefully Portage, let’s hope for stable weather and good south winds to bring those fish in close along with some Skamania. Really want to do a combo trip this year. Just wanted to let everyone know so no fuel is wasted on getting out to the clay flats.
