Went out today with user Lund and a friend, ended up with 16 keepers between three of us. Slow but it was fun and should only get better. Caught the fish by Crowley's, past the 95th bridge. Smallest kept was around 8-8 1/2 inches, biggest was probably around 13.

We struck out fishing Indiana/Reciprocal water lakeside of the 92nd St bridge. IL online license vendor is not operational and unable to buy a license. Pretty frustrating waste of a day. Finally got through to someone in the office and they suggested trying a brick and mortar vendor…

We struck out yesterday as well. We tried all over except where an Illinois license is needed. We even tried the old US Steel southworks ship channel. There were about 40 people fishing from the old docks and we  saw only one perch caught. We did enjoy launching from Cal Park. We used both the north ramp and the south ramp and had no problem. There were another 12 vehicles and trailors in the parking lot. When is the best time for perch in the river? I thought it was now

That South Works slip is all Illinois water, just a heads up.
