In addition to the animated estimated LM color map, I have added the Sea Grant Coastwatch Southern Lake Michigan Surface Temperatures map which contains actual numerical estimates.

Keep in mind this map only appears to update twice per day generally speaking and sometimes there are gaps between updates. As of right now, the last update was on 3/24.

having them both like that will be a big help as water warms up around the lake. Can really watch both maps and compare one against the other, along with the wind map. Some might be surprised to see in summer how fast the lake can change temperature and how fast the cold water gets shuffled around.

Dirtyx when you add a new feature could you add a link to it. It sounds petty but it saves me hunting around for the new features. Also as the site grows it will make it that much more convenient. Not a huge deal just a suggestion.

Now that I went and looked a second time I now see the map, it was not showing the first time I looked just before the comment. Strange

Yep I can do that no problem BidEdV - makes sense.

Also everyone please realize that at times, some pages will load slow or perhaps even fail to load all together. This is because The South End pulls significant amounts of data and information from other sources. If these sources are down or slow, then they will fail to load here or be slow.

Just keep all this in mind
