Jeff and I did some pre fishing tonight for saturdays tournament. We found a couple kings and a laker to play tug of war with.

The bite was definitely not on tonight. Marked some good fish, just couldnt get many to go unfortunately.

That sounds like my last 3 trips. Marking plenty, not catching much of anything. Drives a guy crazy.

Last night marked a bunch of fish, plenty of cold water up high, no bait around - sounds great, right? Only caught 2 suspended lakers, going 3 MPH no less. One of them pulled drag like a king, was actually fun to catch. I guess 48 degree water only 30 feet down gives them a little more spunk
