out early back late got smoked by a steelhead during a lure change.
I just changed and set my board line and pulled my rigger to change it when HE hit. The lure I had on was only on for 3 min which I can say was much more time than the steelhead was on. He hit pulled my rod holder horizontal peeled some drag and came unbuttoned all before I could realize what was going on drop the rigger pole and grab my flat line pole
Well that's the only action I had all day, tried all colors from 50 to 116 fow

Hate that - I swear they hear you walking around the boat and know its time to hit. Thanks for the report sorry about the lost fish.

Everytime I have to take a leak a rod goes off - gets messy.......
