TOPIC:

It was smooth sailing on the way out but as soon as we started to set lines the tiny little breeze we had suddenly stopped and we began to roast. The black fiberglass of the Ranger acting as a solar powered heat rock. The combination of biting flies and oppressing sun led to this guy giving up.



We trolled North from 70' to 90' without much happening. The farther North we went, the more desolate things looked. We did manage to pick up this little guy in about 78'.



He is actually smaller than he appears. Bill is trying his best to hold him out far to make the fish appear respectable.

We turned to the SW to cover new water and take advantage of the breeze that had picked up and trolled back into 40' of water with nothing to show for it. Definitely no motivation to get this guy up yet.



At this point, it was more of a sunset cruise than a fishing trip. We finished 1-4...3 drive-bys on long lines.

Great pics - gonna have to get that guy a 5 hour energy or something.

Super calm whenever I go out its so rough I feel like I was in a fight the next day! Great pics!
