Better than expected - 7 for 11 (5 chinook, 2 steelhead), lines in 6-10:30 am, 55' water outside Lighthouse. 3 chinook were in 13-16 lb. range and dusky-colored like fish ready to run upstream, other 2 were silvery 6-8 lbs. None of the fish had any baitfish is stomachs so not sure why they were where they were, but did enjoy the heck out of the bite.
Chrome/frog Spin Doc and green fly took first 2 larger kings at 40' down, white spinnie/green fly took 2 other chinook at 50' down after figured chinook were around and started retiring steelhead stuff which had been set shallower.
