Guess you need to watch out for trees and other stuff when traveling. This guy was out around a mile or so. We turned him back south and watched him go back to Portage instead of going to the U.P.

If you catch one Ed do you have to throw him back? To bad it didn't have a rocking chair rack on his head. I think I could have fit it in my searunner's live well. Deer do be crazy sometimes.

Wow. That's pretty crazy, especially at night! Would never have thought you'd have to be concerned about hitting deer with your boat! Car, yes, but boat?!?!?!?

I was heading out this morning and I'd just told my peeps about the deer seen swimming out in this area. In about 3 seconds, I spotted it only about 10 yards off my port side. Alas, no longer swimming. It was just bobbing along with the waves - unless it was doing the side-stroke.

Well I tried, but for some reason he seemed bent on going north. guess I don't have to wonder anymore if he made it all the way in. Thanks Mike..

I guess next time Ed you are going to have to do your best imitation of a rope slinging cattle puncher, lasso it and drag him in to the shore. That way he can die as nature intended, in a car wreck.
