Anyone have a spot for buying copper line either south or west of the city? I'm in Plainfield and I need some more, but Bass Pro and Cabela's don't have it. I'd rather not drive to Great Lakes angler if I don't have to.

Slez bait and tackle in Lake Station, IN will have it. Call them ahead of time to make sure they have what segment you need. I usually get 1,000' segments and do multiple reels.

Calument marine carries blood run copper in stock. Blood run and caulment marine are both sponsors of our site. He is located in calument city. He can help you with any of your boat issues as well. Slez will also have it but it will add and extra 90 min round trip to your commute.
