Trolled outside of the ditch and East from sun up to noon. Didn't mark much, dragging assortment of j plugs, cranks, spoons, flies. Finally hooked one right at the end on a large green rapala fat rap on a planer board. Lost him after a nice fight about 30' from the boat. Appeared to be a 15-20 lb King.

Just want to say thanks for all the posts. I've been reading since the spring and this is my first post. It's really great to help each other out!

A nice gentlemen at the dock said he caught 3 Kings.

Its so painful to lose those fish at the boat after a good fight. Nothing more frustrating!
