Plenty of cohos along the "wall" on Sunday and today, to escape the wind I fished Buffington to Four Stacks. If anything, it was better. Absolutely more bait than I've seen in a decade. I set a couple of J-Plugs down in and around the bait (20 and deeper) got several bites all cohos. I'll take it!

If anything, my deeper diving cranks are outfishing the Thinfins - still heavy on the red/orange. Dodgers and flies are working very well as well. Darker flies - blues, greens, black and gold, purple. All took fish in the top 10 feet. Dodgers on Dipseys 25 out have been quite good, as well.

Thanks for the info, I was kayak fishing at Michigan City Sunday and never hit a thing and never saw a fish caught by boat or from the pier. It sound like the all the action is west. Maybe I'll try over your way the next time, after I get a turkey this week of course. Your pal Kreig.

Saw a guy in a Hobie catch one on Sunday. Probably caught others.

I was out Sunday and Monday as well. Did ok on the inland wall Sunday AM but found I was going to slow. Went to Gary Sunday evening and did pretty well but the catch ratio was about 2:1 - some coming off and some snapping the fly lines. Everything Sunday was on my dipsys out 20 with 0 Dodger and fly (fly had to have blue, purple or black in it). Monday stayed in EC and dipsys got nothing but the Dodger fly on the 5/8 keel did all the work on the big boards. Monday it was all green and gold flies and my 0 dodger with the reflective tape in the middle doing the best by far. lost a couple Monday with broken line and one came loose. Winds kicked up and just couldn't control the boat, so called it a morning. in 2 days got 20 fish in the boat so no limits but had steady fishing both days and a ton of fish being marked.
