pulled out of the ditch at about 2 this afternoon. went straight north to the border in Indiana water where we marked a lot of fish Friday night. not so many fish on the screen there today. tried there for about 2 hours then headed over to the gong. didn't mark anything there but we did pick up one little coho on a glow spoon slider, rigger set at 26ft in about 55ft of water . fished there for about 2 hours and headed back in close and tried a few passes at the mouth to see if we could find some steelhead. Had one of are releases there on a planner rod running a gold flow red j-13. finished up 1 for 3 on the day. tomorrow nights plan is to head over to Michigan city and try and get on some steelhead

We tried the same area, straight north to the state line, however we went out in the morning. Worked east and south from 75'-55' with only a few scattered marks around 61'. Only catch was a foil balloon I scooped up with the net. Headed in to check around the Port break wall but at that time there was a literal parade of pleasure boaters headed out to Boaters' Beach, so it was a fun ride with the wakes. Heard what sounded like charter guys on the radio claiming mixed catches of mostly Coho and a few Steelies, with an occasional king. Didn't know exactly where they were at but they were all within sight of each other and working back and forth through the same areas. Possibly NW of us near EC or out deep.
