Did the Kids Tournament hosted by the Hoosier Coho Club and it was excellent and well run.

Had my son and my friends two kids on board. Super foggy but the fishing was hot.

Fished straight out from the harbor in 85 feet of water. Couldn’t keep all 9 rods in the water. Fishing hitting all sorts of spoons and flies (kids picked out the spread). Dipseys and 250 and 200 copper probably the best. Not huge sizes but constant action. Ended up 17 for 26 or so. Mostly Coho with several lakers and several nice looking kings.

Boys had a blast and my son’s Laker was good for 5th at 13.85 lbs and my friends son 12 lb King was good for 9th. Other kid had a little over 10 lb King for 16th place.

Overall a great morning on the lake and the kids had a blast. Great job by the Tournament committee running the tournament.
