8am headed straight north to 150' turned with rollers and started setting lines. 2 down riggers with sliders and 200' steel with modified Carmel dolphin. 
Grabbing 400 copper to set it, drag on 200' steel started going. Buddy from KY grabbed it started reeling. Got board off he handed me rod said I got to sit down. He turned paler then my white igloo cooler. Reeled in solid 12# steelhead with Valpo buddy netting. KY buddy didn't improve so day was over and we headed in. DNR creel survey Ron came over when we tied up Washington park. Learned some from Ron and KY buddy got some color back in his face and humor in his spirit. Temp down 80' was 48 speed at ball was 2.4
