I fished St Joe 7/31 evening. Headed out 280 degrees to 90 ft and setup. Cold water down 60 ft. Lots of action from lakers of all sizes but only one silver fish - small shaker king snagged on a slider. Two lakers on 3 color swr down 48 ft on Moonshine Hulk spoon. Two more on Spin Dr and home made fly down 70ft. Three more on Craigs Flounder down 55 ft. Nothing on the braid diver setup - everything on riggers. Perfect evening with light winds and no bugs. Spiny fleas weren't too bad either.
On another note I found out my braid needs replaced - snapped at the reel when I went to release the diver rod, sending my magnum Dipsey, a snubber and a nice new Stinger off to the bottom. Costly lesson learned. My best action was from about 100 out to 130. The action died off for me before sunset and I headed in before dark - I saw lots of debris in the river and a huge log floating by the Coast Guard station - be careful out there!

Thanks for report. Did you happen to check guides and reel for rough edge causing your line to break? use small piece of yarn to check where you can't get your finger.
