I heard from a guy who knows a guy who talked to a guy who heard about a guy who fished early this week at Portage who said there were some kings caught nearshore. Gotta be the truth!  Didn't get clear details about depth of water, trolling speed, types of lures, strength of line or best colors.

I saw a report from Grand Rapids yesterday from a gentleman that got his 5 kings fishing the 6th street area if I remember correctly. We just need cold water to move in.

With all this 70 degree water on the southern end of lake Michigan we may get the big snows the new and old Farmers Almanac are forecasting!
