TOPIC:

 Been working on getting all my stuff around for the last 3 months and finally got out for my first trolling trip in Lake Michigan. We hit the water shortly after day break and had our first fish by 8am that came in an orange 00 dodger with a blue fly behind it off a diver 25’ out..had multiple fish come off thin fish on flat lines behind boards,  red and black squiggles took most fish with pink with black swuiggles as well as wondered also taking fish. Flasher fly took more fish through the morning as well..had 2 doubles  and needed 2 more fish for our 2 man limit and ended up with a triple at the end..that was a little crazy but we managed and boated all 3 and tossed back the smallest fish to give us our limit of 10 really nice spring coho. I’ve got a few bugs to work out on my setup but it went great. Had a little mishap on the way back to the launch with the motor dying out on me and we used the trolling motor to get us back..luckily we weren’t very far out. All fish were in 25-35fow 

all in all I’m very happy with my first trip ever trolling Lake Michigan out of my little 16’ crestliner boat
