Got out last Thursday and targeted Brown Trout and Coho. We found them guys. Great day. I put a lot of information below in the description area of the video and also towards the end of the video itself. Be sure to watch until the end. Thanks for watching and the support. Just an FYI, we ate these big Browns and they are probably one off of Lake Trout. If we get anything over 4-5 pounds, and the water is cold and fish are healthy, they will be going back to the drink to be caught another day.

Question for you. I've never fished out of Hammond. I could see and here the equipment at the land fill but how many miles were you from port? Not looking for numbers just an idea

Love watching your videos,  I do most of my web browsing on the phone, but I'll wait til I get home to put you guys on the big screen.

Question- How's that Honda treating you?
I'm getting my first Honda( 200hp Tohatsu,  but it's a rebadged Honda) and was just looking for feedback.

Also I'm going to be running the Church boards this year because they trip and I'm having them set to slide down the line.  Just wondering why you want them stationary?   I'm keeping the Church releases on the front as they are adjustable also.

I had a 2000 4 stroke carbureted Yamaha before this. It treated me well and I was happy with it. All of the vehicles I've owned in the last 10 years have been Honda's basically for reliability. I was considering another Yamaha but also wanted to try the Honda because of the luck I had with my vehicles. Honda was also the only brand that carried a 100 hp. Most other brands were 90 or 115. I looked into the tohatsu but they were only a 90 hp. Yes, cheaper and I'm sure would have worked great but didn't want to go down in hp. So, In 2021 when I wanted to upgrade, the world was a mess and I called SEVERAL boat/engine dealerships and literally the ONLY place that answered my call and got back to me was Calumet Marine. I talked to Denise and then Frank and then it was game over. Got a Honda. I have been tickled with it so far, quiet, easy to start, reliable so far and I think it looks cool, too.

On to the board question... I've had a few folks ask me about that. I would rather fight a big fish on 300' copper or a 20 pound king on a flat line straight up instead of fighting a board the entire time. I definitely see an advantage fighting dead weight 3 pound walleyes with no fight. I completely get that. However, anything over 5 pounds, I personally would rather take the board off and then fight the fish. But I respect everyone's opinions.

Thanks for watching. It does mean so much to us.
