Anyone do your own meat for rigs? Was making my own and was curious to know how others do theirs. First years batch came out great, last year not so much (maybe lack of attention to detail/maybe overly confident and didn't read the directions) but I hope this years batch gets me on some big fish. I've used the dreamweaver strips but theres something about using something you've made yourself.

Man those look great. How can those baits not catch fish?

Thanks Don! A big part of wanting to making my own is that tail. My first batch I ever did held scales so I think that shine also made it attractive, the 2nd batch the scales didn't stay on too well and I think that had hurt the productivity of them.
