Coho Cabin Fever Tournament

Pushed to Sunday April 2nd due to weather / waves.

South End Tournaments are meant to be a low stakes way of getting everyone together and having some fun fishing with a little competition thrown in. If you have not fished the tournaments before, give it a shot as it is a great way to meet everyone and have a good time.

We are continually gaining sponsor support which will ensure a lot of teams go home with cash or prizes.

The registration form along with the rule set is attached. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask in this thread or via PM.

There will be PLENTY of dock space open as most of the boats will not be in their slips yet. You can park your boat in the morning and afternoon pretty much wherever you want.

Also, if anyone wants to put in their boat the night before the tournament you can do so at no charge. To set this up call Scott Praxl at Marina shores at (219) 762-5700. Scott is the Harbor Master.

A random individual will win a Fish Hawk TD at the tournament weigh in. We will put names in a hat for a drawing for anyone that is interested. A great thanks to Fish Hawk for supplying this unit!

Due to the wonderful support of our sponsors, places 3-5 will receive prize packs. In addition we will be giving away 12 prize packs randomly (name in a hat type drawings). Two of the prize packs are significant, one being the FishHawk TD, and the other a nice pack of tackle and rods provided by Slez's. There will also be packs of custom painted thin fins! The other remaining prize packs will be worth your entry fee or more.

We will also have a separate drawing for 4 TowBoatUS memberships for 2017 for those that are interested.

Drawings will be conducted at the weigh in.

We look forward to seeing you all out there!

Typically guys just bring their filled out form and $$ the morning of the tournament prior to the captains meeting. This usually works out best, gives everyone a chance to chat a bit and eliminates the need for returning money etc. if the tournament is cancelled due to weather.

The only tournament that we will utilize advance registration is the Lakerpalooza tournament because boats can go out of any port.

There sure are. There is a good amount of room right by the fish cleaning station. If that fills then they have a new transient dock area on the west side of the marina. Also many boats will not be in their slips so there will be plenty of room one way or the other. Glad to hear you will be coming out, its a great way to meet guys. We kind of view it as a golf league mentality. We all are going fishing anyway, might as well make it fun and a bit competitive, with good discussions and now as of this year lots of people will go home with cash or prizes.

I trailer my boat so everyone can just follow my lead. At tournament completion you can tie up at marina shores, or pull the boat out and drive over to marina shores, plenty of room. Marina Shores has gone a great job for us!
