TOPIC:

The first leg of the HCC Club Championship series is quickly approaching on June 8 & 9! This series of tournaments is designed to be derby style to allow anglers to fish on their own schedule while having fun and competing. There is a total of 4 series tournaments over the course of the season. Start time is 12:01am Saturday morning, and you must weigh your fish by 4pm Sunday evening. You may also weigh fish Saturday.

Notable changes for 2019:

• Weigh in at Marina Shores in Portage or Washington Park in Michigan City.
• 30 different ways to win. All placing winners will receive cash and trophies / plaques.
• Coho have been changed to 3 bonus points.
• Big Fish for each series tournament will be species specific.
• Overall Series Big Fish will be a parallel series long contest that will pay out for each Salmon / Trout species with great minimum payouts!
• Club Champion will be determined by placement in each series tournament.

Well not a "portage guy" per se but going to weigh in at Portage unless i am crunched for time and have to hit MC to make the time slot. Just curious - has Hammond being an allowed port ever been discussed (not weigh in, just launch)?
