When: Saturday April 4th Cancelled
Where: Marina Shores (across the ditch from Portage Marina). Launched boats should drop in at Portage Marina and drive the boat to Marina Shores.

Like in years past, this is a great opportunity to get to know each other and compete on a completely level playing field. It is anyones competition to win. I expect a huge turnout this year. Last year we had 43 boats . Come on out, have fun and meet a great group of guys. Any questions, please ask in this thread.

If the tournament is going to be pushed because of weather, waves then it will be announced here, and on facebook by 5pm the night before.

Notes:
- We have many great sponsors and will have a number of awesome prize packages to give away.
- Transient slips from Marina Shores is Free!
- Aside from payout, we will have trophies for the top few places and big fish this year. Thanks to Marina Shores!
- Free coffee / donuts at registration
- Food and Drink / Beer will be available just before, during, and after the weigh in. Come hungry and thirsty - the only way to get tickets to win prize packages is buying food, drinks, beer. They are supporting us so its a great way to support them.
- The Marina Shores Fish Cleaning Station will be available for everyone to use once the weigh in and award ceremonies are over.

The sponsors list is below, and the rules & registration form is attached. Please print out a copy and complete prior to arriving for registration. If you cannot print it out, we will have copies available at registration.

You can see prior years results by going to the sites main menu EVENTS -> SOUTH END TOURNAMENTS or click here .

It's better to ask forgiveness than for permission.

fyi.....not sure how this might impact the CCFT:

Following the directives of the Governor of the State of Indiana and the recommendations from the CDC, we will be postponing the Marina Shores Yacht Club Grand Opening which was scheduled for April 3rd.

At this time, we cannot announce a new date for the opening as the situation is still evolving. The management team is keeping a close eye on the situation as it changes daily. We are all very excited for the opening of the restaurant and will notify you as soon as we are able to reschedule with a new date.

I have already talked with them and they would be able to provide food for us no problem. However they are unable to do their grand opening due to the person limit.

With this being said - I have serious doubts that we should run this tournament. There is plenty of time to decide. I would like to hear peoples comments and thoughts - so PLEASE discuss here.

I would wait and see what happens over the next couple of weeks. A lot is going to change between now and then once they start testing at a higher rate.
